There are few artists who haven’t painted trees. Trees call to us. They are our shelter—as is or in the form of lumber. They warm us at our fires, house the myriad birds and animals who live in them. They cool the air and regulate the atmosphere. So, to bring in this new spring, we honor the trees of Yakima and beyond. Walk with us through this “forest” and see the many ways we artists experience the trees of the world.
