Where I live (now):  Yakima, WA

Growing up in Boise, Idaho in the 50’s gave me great freedom to roam the landscape of my life, both downtown and in the sandy hills surrounding it. Since then, I have preferred to be outside, drinking in the weather, the views, and the animals who live there.

I have photographed and drawn images from all my travels around the US, South America, China, and the British Isles.

For 30+ years Snohomish County was my home. By 2017, Grandchildren and sunlit vistas called me to retire and move to Yakima.

Although I have drawn and created things all my life, it is in this time, now, that I have truly exploring the wonders of painting.

The major developing themes to my work, both in acrylic and watercolor:

   · Landscapes and sky

   · The small inhabitants of that land and sky

   · Old architecture of the are
