This is from a class I took on pushing color. I decided to push the color out of the frame of white to see what would happen.

"Persian Inspiration"
The large hollow form is highly figured silver maple that has been dyed. I used acrylic paint on all other parts. The base and cup are hand painted linden wood while the pierced black walnut lid and the cherry spiral teardrop finial are both air-brushed.
